Monthly Archives: September 2008 Before I got my D3, I always joked to Kelly that it was called the wrist breaker because of it’s size and weight. The irony did not escape me when yesterday morning at 5.30am I woke up to a my right wrist in absolute agony, so much so that something had to be done immediately;...  the white stripes red blood cells cover, originally uploaded by LostMyHeadache. I love the boldness and extreme contrast of this album cover. Something I may try and emulate to see how it works.  Friday was an evening I had noted on my calendar for quite some time. Two of my favourite local bands were playing in one intimate venue. Also, it was the first time I was taking out my Nikon D3 out on a real gig. The bands really worked the crowd who were up for it....  I went to a couple’s birthday celebrations for their first daughter who’s one years old. One of my favourite photos is of my good friend Justin. He was feeling unwell…still, I’m always after that one shot. I boosted the contrast and white/black levels to get this shot in Post production. |
