The Walker family from my church will be leaving for South Africa to do some amazing work. They are part of the Thembalitsha Charity Foundation who a South African NGO (non governmental organisation) reaching out to the poor and needy people of the Western Cape. Their vision is simple but profound:
‘To provide hope through caring’.
Thembalitsha’s focus is on social development, with a particular emphasis on the lives of people who are infected or affected by HIV and AIDS.
Tim, Maz & Arron are leaving everything behind in they have in the UK to live, breath and do God’s work out there. I wish them well and I intend to go out there and do my little bit very soon.
