I was simply blown away by the place when I first saw it at the Wedding rehearsal. The long and narrow drive is twisty with speedbumps that do their job perfectly. The driveway is surrounded by trees and fences which means you cannot see the house until the last 100 metres. It really is like a scene from a movie; that long tracking shot from the cars perspective really build anticipation. As the trees move aside, it reveals this splendid building that is breathtaking!

It stands tall and proud, but it also has an independence about it. When you look at the house straight on, there is nothing else around it except sky. So it just becomes this character that just demands to be photographed. Dare I say the building is showing off!

Inside, the manor it is surprisingly intimate. That is not to say small, but not as big as I had imagined from the outside. However, it’s party piece is the main hall with it’s surrounding balcony. The decor and detail is immaculate. I could point my camera in any direction and it would be a great shot.

The staff are top grade people who are welcoming, professional and very approachable. I have been to a many weddings and whilst the staff have always been professional and welcoming I don’t always feel I can ask them questions as they are darting about getting the wedding on its way (which is understandable).

I already knew the framework (or wire frame as it’s called in the business) so that part was planned very quickly. I knew it had to keep to a familiar template as my October 08 design; big bold images, a flash gallery and informative. The biggest difference this time round was I wanted to put more of my personality on it. This is a double edge sword; as with any personalization there will be some who like it and some who don’t but I came to a realization that anyone can pick up a SLR camera and call themselves a photographer but without the right kind of experience and personality then he or she won’t be any good.

Photographers capture memorable moments and since I am a film buff I used movies as a source for unforgettable quotes. You will see them scattered around the website, as I think of more appropriate quotes I’ll be putting them on.

Online photos is more prolific than ever; digital cameras are now the must have gadget and more people are getting involved with capturing families, holidays and the drunk night out.

A contemporary and classic frame can be bought for well under £5, and most printers can spit out a half decent print with high gloss paper so I challenge you to frame your photos and display them the way they should be. Photo albums are nice,  but they’re tucked away on a bookshelf and never receive the appreciation they deserve. I have a strange fondness for fridge magnets and what better use for them than to hold classic photos of your life. Most of mine are of close friends during my travels, but some are just too silly to mention My point is sticking them on a fridge is far better than sliding them into an album.

Whilst talking to some friends it occured to me that I alter my career ever so slightly to keep life interesting. I have always had a creative passion and when I get into something there is a trend for me to REALLY GET INTO it. But I digress…

Full Day Photographic Coverage

We can start shooting from what ever time you require us to, no matter how early. We work with you prior to the Wedding Day to plan a shooting schedule, so we know where to be at the right time to get the best shots. The total shooting period is up to you. Your Wedding Day has to run like clockwork, so we keep shooting until a reasonable hour. I do not like to set specific times, because each Wedding is unique and different, so we work around you.

Signed Picture Frame
A classic, dark wooden frame measuring 23” by 14”, with a canvas so your guests can write their messages to you on your day. In the middle will be a 6” by 4” photograph of your choosing, which we will insert later.

Jorgensen Wedding Album
