Jessica and Marcus

I love small weddings, to me they bring out the best of what a wedding should be; intimate, personal and involving.

This was the case with Jess and Marcus. There was nothing over the top about the day. I loved the simplicity of everything, even to the bride's outfit.

So to reflect that I wanted to focus on the unassuming qualities of the couple and the guests. I did not try to find funky angles or look for complicated setups. I used my long lens for close ups and the wide lens to capture the environment...simple!

I had a brilliant day out, and because it was a relatively small wedding (which got a little bit bigger during the evening), I got to know everyone quite well very quickly. I hope 2010 brings me more small weddings, they are simply great fun!!
