THIS IS A TEST

Sadie and Casper

Sadie and Casper were a referral Wedding from a photographer friend who already had a shoot, so I had never met the bride and groom before.

I turned up at Southwark Registry office nice and early. I spoke to a nice girl in their office and asked if I could have a look around. I took some test shots and figured out where best to take the group shots.

I ventured back out to the front and saw some smartly dressed people outside. I introduced myself and began making them feel at ease with me.

I photographed around them for the next 20 minutes before Casper arrived with Sadie. Both were beaming and looked very relaxed and pleased at the gathering.

The ceremony was intimate with their friends and family enjoying their union. It was a warm affair. I could only really stand in one place so I couldn't get a variety of shots.

Then it was off to the really fun part; bowling at Brick Lane.

I didn't know what to expect as I had never photographed in a bowling arena before. They had hired out a private room that just had two lanes which I thought was a brilliant idea! The light was terribly low, and using flash might of put off the guests and players.

There was one formal speech given by Casper; it was heart warming and I could hear a few sniffles around me as he spoke about his deep feelings for his new wife.

I left them to scout locations in Brick Lane. In the end, I saw this beautiful green building where the sun was hitting it with a warm glow. So with that in mind, I grabbed Sadie and Casper and walked them to the building and took a few shots there.

I am always conscious not to take too long with the couple as I know they are not here to be photographed by me, but to be with their friends and family. So after just 10 minutes, I had completed my duties, said farewell and made off towards the nearest tube station having completed a very happy day.
