Notley Abbey, a prestigious wedding venue in the heart of BuckinghamshireIf you think of wedding venues in Buckinghamshire, then you will probably think of Notley Abbey. All my clients and most of my photography peers said Notley Abbey was a splendid location to host a wedding reception; I realised this when I visited for the first time. When you approach the road you will see an unassuming sign saying Notley Abbey, but then instantly you are made welcome by a long drive framed by beautifully kept trees on either side. As the leaves move, the light creates dancing speckled shadows that seem to pave the journey like a soft carpet as you continue to drive on. The short drive ends and you are greeted with a magnificent building that is time and classic. It is not spoilt by any 20th century distractions. It just begs you to come in and have a beautiful occasion. Set in the rolling landscape of Buckinghamshire the location has the perfect English backdrop. It is actually possible to relax and imagine a simpler time just looking at the this picturesque setting. Photographing there is simply divine with all the magnificence and poise you should expect from a luxurious wedding venue.
